A private jet crashed and killed three Tesla Motors employees in northern California last Wednesday.
A Cessna 310 hit an electrical tower after take off last Wednesday, crashing into a nearby residential area and taking the lives of three people on the plane.
Tesla confirmed that all of the casualties were Tesla employees. There were no injuries on the ground.
The company has chosen to withhold the names of the employees as authorities notify the concerned families.
“Tesla is a small, tightly-knit company, and this is a tragic day for us,” commented Elon Musk, the Chief executive of Tesla.
The company is best known for manufacturing “clean energy” engine alternatives.
