A portable hotel for your private jet

Updated: July 23, 2013

While taking a private jet may prevent passengers from long airport queues, it does not avoid them the long trip their hotels once they’ve landed. However, this may no longer be the case in Doha, Qatar.

Architect Margot Krasojevic was commissioned by a client to create a portable hotel for short stays on the ground. The design (which can be seen in the image in this article) features numerous amenities, including a small lounge, a bathroom, and sleeping quarters. The light-weight hotel can be conveniently wheeled around the airport to meet jets that have landed.

Furthermore, the structure features hydro-pneumatic suspension sections with a canopy cover and a roof that counter balances different segments.

In addition to that, it’s also designed to filter rain water into consumable water.
